Head of UNICEF communicated program Maia Kurtsikidze said. “We had very interesting meetings with Women’s Council and also with Council of Elders. We have been in Pankisi twice; first time was in July. We visited schools and kindergartens. We promised them to bring some educational equipment. Today we brought them some books, computers, etc. We wish to collaborate with their partners in the Pankisi Valley”.

On the same day, the honoured guests met with RSF students. They talked about their topical issues including children’s rights. The meeting was extremely important and interesting for the students. They had some questions and received answers from the representatives of UNICEF.

The meeting was very important for us, we talked about our needs and problems and Mr. Ghassan Khalil promised to support us.
