2020 was full of challenges and difficulties. We had to face new difficulties that were caused by COVID-19 and to manage to deal with all this. Covid pandemic caused many problems: unemployment; lockdown; less relationship with each other. These challenges affected everyone.
The situation mostly affected the elderly and the unemployed people who couldn’t even afford to buy food.
All of this taught us to help and support each other.
Based on this difficult situation, the youth of our valley decided to help the poor families as much as possible. They started a charity campaign. They asked people to make donations, they could donate as much money as they could afford. The youth initiative was quite successful and totally 15 families were supplied with food, clothing and household appliances.
