Nowadays, tourism in Pankisi is very developed. More than 500 tourists visit Pankisi Valley every year, but in the past people didn’t have a desire to visit and go sightseeing, because people thought that in our valley was a frightening destinations to visit. Now everybody knows that we are the most peaceful ethnic nation in Georgia.
The first person who created a guesthouse was Nazi Dakishvili. In spite of being young and living in the city, she decided to arrive in the gorge and introduce our valley in the way factually it is. I think that challenged youngsters to pursue their goals.
